Hi! Since you asked my name is Barry and I am 24 years old. I would like Jim to fix it so that I can get a degree please. Failing that I have signed up to start a Physics course at Swansea university beginning in September. I have started this blog for two main reasons. Firstly because after I start my degree I thought it may be useful to other students of Physics to be able to see where I inevitably go wrong. Secondly because in the interim I have far too much free time and really don’t know what to do with it.
Once my course starts I will attempt to teach some aspects of Physics through the medium of the blog. Not for your benefit, rather because I find that if I understand something I can teach it. If I can’t teach it, I don’t understand it. In this way shall I pass examinations. In theory. Prior to this happening (and also parallel to it) I shall attempt, in my feeble way, to enlighten, entertain and energise you. A gift from my free time to yours.
