Applied for university accommodation today. Opted for the student village in the end. With a large room in a mixed flat as my first choice. Hopefully this will leave me room for my van loads of stuff I have accumulated over the years! All I need do now is sort out the complications with the university web mail password. I should have a default password set up. Unfortunatly, as I am a returning student (technically) they have instead reactivated my old account. Can I remember the password? Can I ‘eck as like. I have emailed the nearest department to the issue as I could find an address for and am hoping that my password gets reset imminently. Unfortunatly the uni uses it to interact with me in nearly all things from here on in. Will be a bit of a pain if I can’t access it.

you made the right choice i feel with the student village. Having cleaners come into your room each morning mon-fri on campus would have driven you mad. I nearly went insane at some points as i felt like i never left the uni, in uni all day working, walk several yards back home…but still at uni.
At least you’ll be in a mixed flat as well which is good for obvious reasons.
